How it works
From a few names to a story you can keep.
Every search follows the same careful path, with a fixed price and no hidden extras.
A free consultation
We start with a free, no obligation chat, in person or by email. You tell me what you already know: a few names, dates and places. I gather as much information as possible about your family, in particular the surnames and maiden names of your parents and grandparents.
Careful research
Once you've chosen the service package that best suits your needs, I begin. I trace your line through parish registers, census returns, civil records and the many other sources that survive. Every search is carried out personally by me, not handed to a team.
Verifying every name
I never add a name to your tree until the evidence puts it beyond reasonable doubt. Where two records seem to conflict, or a line runs into a genuine brick wall, I will show you exactly what I have found and explain what it does and does not prove.
Your finished story
Finally I present your family history. If you opted for the Bronze package you'll get access to your full digital family tree and a printed A4 family tree showing 5 generations, or with the Silver package you'll also receive an archival-quality poster ready to frame showing 6 generations. And because names and dates are only half of it, I tell the stories behind them, as I find them. The part your family will actually remember.
Ready when you are
